Overview

PolyMacro ("we", "our", "the app") provides an iOS app and web dashboard for macro research. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.

Data We Collect

When you use PolyMacro, we collect:

• Apple ID email — provided by Sign in with Apple when you create an account. Used for your account and, when supplied at checkout, billing.
• Display name — optionally provided during sign-in. Used to personalize your experience.
• Saved preferences — watchlists and alert settings you create, shared across web and iPhone.
• Subscription status — whether you are on the free or premium tier. Used to gate features appropriately.
• Device token — if you enable push notifications, your Apple Push Notification service (APNs) device token is stored on our server to deliver alert notifications. The token is deleted when you sign out or disable notifications.

Data We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your location data.
• We do not collect device identifiers or advertising IDs.
• We do not track your browsing behavior outside the app.
• We do not sell or rent your personal data. The service providers listed below process data to operate PolyMacro.
• We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

How We Use Your Data

• To authenticate your account via Sign in with Apple.
• To manage your subscription (free or premium tier).
• To deliver personalized content (watchlist preferences, if applicable).

Data Storage

Your account data is stored on servers hosted on AWS (EU region). The iOS app stores authentication tokens in the iOS Keychain. The web dashboard uses encrypted HttpOnly cookies for login sessions and a short-lived cookie during Apple sign-in, handled by its Cloudflare Worker.

AI Processing

PolyMacro uses AI models to analyze and tag news articles with relevant asset categories, classify articles as market-moving, and generate contextual summaries. This processing is applied to publicly available news content only — no personal user data is sent to AI services.

Third-Party Services

• Apple — Sign in with Apple for authentication. Apple Push Notification service (APNs) for alert delivery.
• RevenueCat — Subscription management and receipt validation, using your PolyMacro account identifier and subscription information. Web checkout may also use the email associated with your account.
• Cloudflare — Web hosting, request routing, and encrypted web-session handling.

Data Retention

Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days.

Your Rights

You can:

• Request a copy of your data by contacting us.
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
• Opt out of Sign in with Apple (note: this will prevent app login).

Children's Privacy

PolyMacro is not intended for children under 17. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via the app.
